The 27th Annual Butte County Toy Run is Saturday, December 6th. Organizers say all motorcyclists are welcome to participate.

The event is a toy drive to help hundreds of children in local foster care. One toy or gift card per person is the admission price for the Poker Run. Sign-in is at 9:30 a.m. at the Chico Municipal Center, located at 411 Main Street.

From there the procession will head down 4th Street to Pine, and then south on Pine Street ... the riders will get a law enforcement escort to Durham and will then head out past Butte College and up to Paradise and Magalia, ending at the Paradise Calvary Chapel, at 14388 Dogtown Road in Magalia.

Participants will receive T-shirts, coffee, donuts and food at ride's end. It takes place rain or shine, but if it's raining call Hall's Harley Davidson in Chico in the morning to verify the start location.

Even if you don't ride a motorcycle you're encouraged to donate to help children in foster care have a merry Christmas, and to help with unmet needs throughout the year.

For more information call Hall's Harley Davidson at (530) 893-1918.
