Butte County Man Charged with Threatening to Burn Down Girlfriend's House with Kids Inside.

A Butte County man was arraigned Friday, on charges he threatened to burn down his girlfriend's house, with her kids sleeping inside.
D.A. Mike Ramsey says 34-year-old Joshua Hammons" is facing three felony charges, including attempted arson and child endangerment.
Gridley police responded to the 2900 block of 9th St. in Biggs earlier in the week, after they got a call from one of the children, stating his mother's boyfriend was trying to burn the house down.
Investigators say Hammons got into an argument with his pregnant girlfriend and started to pour gasoline inside the living room, threatening to burn the house down with her four children inside.
Police quickly responded and took Hammons into custody.
Officers at the scene found lighters on Hammons.
He was booked into the Butte County Jail.
