Butte County Dept. of Water and Resource Conservation Unveils New Touch Screen

A new innovative multi-touch screen was unveiled today at the Butte County Library in Oroville. The Butte County Department of Water and Resource Conservation developed the new touch screen for people to explore the Northern Sacramento Valley's land and water resources from Redding to Willows.

The new tool has different map layers with photos and captions illustrating information about ground water, surface water, and geology.

A second touch screen will be unveiled at the Gateway Science Museum when it opens September 21st.
