The North Valley Animal Disaster organization are returning back to Butte County after they assited in rescuing livestock from the Rocky Fire burning in Lake County.
The Lake County Animal Shelter called the organization to help with the Rocky Fire which has burned more than 68,000 acres and is only 45 percent contained.
Officials say they found many animals were left behind when people were evacuated.
The North Valley Animal Disaster group is asking for donations, they say during the wildfire season supplies tend to go low.
A fundraiser event is scheduled for September 19th, at the Chico Air Museum, more information can be found here
