College campuses throughout California are bouncing back from 2008 budget cuts.
Starting next Monday, thousands of students will be starting their first day of school at Butte College. President Perry addressed this year's Faculty and Staff to give them a taste of their accomplishments thus far and whats to come.
In addition to adding classes to each of the Butte College campuses, the increase in funding has allowed for an increase in enrollment as well as faculty and staff. Butte college added 44 members to its staff for this upcoming academic year.
The college runs on a $54 million per year budget.
If increased classes, enrollment and staff aren't telling enough, the school plans to award 180 students with scholarships for this academic year.
