Shasta County sheriff's deputies say a traffic stop led to the arrest of two Redding residents who allegedly burglarized a Platina home last week.
Deputies stopped a vehicle matching the one involved in last Wednesday's burglary on Harrison Gulch Road around 2 p.m. Saturday.
Surveillance video from the burglarized home captured clear images of the suspects. Deputies say the vehicle's occupants, Tedi Ellen Vierra, 49, and Michael Jay Krieger, 44, matched the suspects from the surveillance tape.
Vierra and Krieger reportedly admitted their involvement after being questioned by deputies. Both suspects were booked into the Shasta County Jail on suspicion of felony burglary.
