A Bunco in the Barn Fundraiser is planned for the Patrick Ranch Museum on Saturday, January 23rd from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., in "Pat's Barn" at the Ranch.

The doors open at 9 a.m. and the $10 admission price includes lunch. There will also be raffle prizes.

Volunteers are critical to the operation of the historic ranch, which is located at 10381 Midway, half way between Chico and Durham. That's why a Volunteer Fair is planned for Saturday, January 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., in "Pat's Barn".

Perks of volunteering include working with people of all ages and backgrounds in the beautiful atmosphere of agricultural, architectural and local history.

There are only two paid employees and the rest of the operation is handled by volunteers. Opportunities are available in these areas: Midway Cafe, Heritage Gardens, Country Gift Shop, Staging & Decorating, Special Events, Exhibits & Displays, History, Education, Collections and Carpentry.
