The Bully Fire has burned 12,661 acres and is 88 percent contained. Firefighters continue to make good progress on the fire lines.

Cal Fire is reporting that full containment is expected tomorrow, Wednesday July 2.

All evacuation orders have been lifted and no road closures in effect at this time.

One person has died, eight homes and 12 other structures have been destroyed so far. 13 firefighters have suffered minor injuries. No structures remain threatened.

A 27-year-old Sacramento man has been arrested on suspicion of starting the blaze. Authorities say he was delivering material to a marijuana site when the exhaust from his truck ignited dry grass.
