It appears that Carlos Boozer's days as a Chicago Bull are over.
The Chicago Sun Times is reporting tonight, that the Bulls have informed boozer and his agent that the club will use their amnesty provision on him. Boozer will still be paid the $16.8 million he's due next season, but it won't count against the Bulls salary cap.
There were no takers for a sign-and-trade deal for Boozer, and the Bulls reportedly want to use the money to pursue free agent Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony met with the Bulls on Tuesday. Reports also indicate the Bulls are also hoping to sign free-agent big man Pau Gasol.
