The Chico State men's basketball team suffers a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Cal Poly Pomona on senior night at Acker Gym.

At one point in the first half, Chico State led 39-21, but the Broncos bucked the deficit and stormed back to secure a 69-66 victory.

Despite the loss, Chico State will be the No. 3 seed in the California Collegiate Athletic Association tournament next week, and will open against 6th-seeded San Francisco State.

The battle against the Broncos represented the final regular-season home games for Amir Carraway, Sean Park, Rashad Parker, Gio Estrada, and Nate Appel.

Parker poured in a game-high 19 points, Estrada added 17 and Jordan Barton grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds.

Fun fact courtesy of Chico State sports information director Luke Reid, all six of Wildcats' losses this season have been by 3 points or fewer.
