High pressure and sunshine kept us warm yet again today, with Valley highs mostly in the 70's. Burney's 64 broke a record! Look for the warmth to continue through this upcoming weekend.
A little surface ridge of high pressure will build into the Pacific Northwest tomorrow, kicking up a bit of a north wind. Look for 10 to 25 mph gusts in the Valley Friday, with those winds diminishing Friday night.
High pressure will break down next week, and our temperatures will cool down. Models are indicating a healthy storm will very slowly approach the North Coast towards the end of next week, bringing clouds to us then.
Longer range models are bringing rain back to us (finally!) by next weekend. That's still a long way out, and plenty could change before then. But it's hope, and we'll watch that developing system very carefully over the next few days!
