The Boys and girls Club of the North Valley is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Food Truck Fest in Oroville. It takes place on Saturday, June 6th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year the event is presented by Oroville Hospital, to raise money for the Oroville Teen Center.
Twelve different food trucks and food venters will offer tastes and food for sale at the Southside Community Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Road in Oroville. Organizers say it's a fun filled afternoon with delicious food and family friendly activities.
The Food Truck Fest is open to the public. In addition to food, it will also feature a free Children's Fair, music and live entertainment, raffle prizes and more.
Tasting tickets can be purchased ahead of time at the Oroville Teen Center and the Boys & Girls Club main office in Chico.
The Oroville Teen Center serves more than 350 local youth between the ages of 12 and 18. Every day they receive a healthy snack and dinner. Proceeds from the Food Truck Fest will benefit the centers food program.
