BOSTON (AP) - Today is the formal sentencing for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-HAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv).

A federal jury last month condemned Tsarnaev to die for the 2103 bombing that killed three people and wounded more than 260. But under the federal death penalty law, the judge is required to impose the jury's sentence.

More than 30 bombing victims and their relatives are expected to give victim impact statements before the sentencing.
