Court appearances had a minor setback Monday after a bomb threat was called in to the Tehama County Court House in Red Bluff.
Tehama County Sheriffs reported receiving a phone call just before 8 a.m. from an anonymous male saying that there were two bombs placed in the building. He said they were set to detonate at 8:30 that morning.
Deputies and bailiffs evacuated the building and surrounding area while investigators did an extensive search. No explosive devices were located.
The court and surround buildings were reopened at 8:45 a.m. and normal business was resumed.
