The body of a Tehama County man last seen struggling to keep his head above water near the Antelope Bridge Wednesday has been found just yards away on the river bank.

Bystanders called the sheriff's office just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, saying 37-year-old Jason Frazier was swimming in the Sacramento River, near the Antelope Boulevard Bridge pylons in Red Bluff when he went under water and never re-surfaced.

Frazier's body was spotted around 1:30 p.m. Monday by a person walking over the Antelope Boulevard Bridge.

The Tehama County coroner's office responded to the scene and the body was positively identified as Frazier through tattoo identification.

The body was found just yards away from where Frazier was last seen swimming.
