Boaters still headed to Lake Oroville as water levels continue to drop

Despite the low level of water on Lake Oroville, a few boaters are still headed out for a weekend of fun on the water.

According to the California Department of Water Resources, Lake Oroville is currently at 31 percent of capacity.

The record low for Lake Oroville was recorded in September of 1977, at 645-feet above sea level. Right now, it's at 677 feet above sea level.
