It's been a busy year for the Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force.
Thursday morning, the group, made up of Butte County Law Enforcement Agencies, hosted a press conference to update the public on the numbers of methamphetamine and butane honey oil lab busts in 2014.
Paradise Police Chief Gabriella Tazzari-Dineen said last year, drug agents in 25 California counties seized clandestine drug labs, and "Of the 25 counties, Butte County was ranked number one in the state per capita for methamphetamine and butane honey oil labs.
Butte County dismantled 31 honey oil labs in 2014. Of those 31 labs, four ended in explosions which injured a few people."
The task force said the number of BHO labs nearly doubled from 2013 to 2014, and it expects the trend to continue in 2015.
