Sunny skies, and mild heat are ahead for your Wednesday forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 60's for the valley this morning, and mid 40's to high 50's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 90's for the valley, and mid 80's to low 90's in the mountains. Clear skies will leave the region with plenty of sunshine ahead for your Wednesday afternoon, but very hazy conditions will continue across the Northern Mountains. Today's winds will be up to 10mph out of the Southeast, and humidity values will continue to fall to below 20 percent. The hot temperatures, and very dry conditions will continue to leave the region with elevated fire danger.
There will not be much if any change in temperatures through the end of the week, but clouds will increase Thursday and Friday. The potential for showers will return to the northern zones of the state on Friday afternoon, and will spread across the entire north state on Saturday. Temperatures will fall from the mid to high 90's on Friday, into the mid 80's for the valley on Saturday. Showers will taper off overnight on Saturday, but temperatures are projected to stay below average through the beginning of next week. I hope everyone is ready for the cooler conditions on their way to the north state, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
