A heated argument between neighbors in a Bella Vista neighborhood turns violent, sending several people to the hospital. Shasta County Sheriff's deputies were called out for a reported stabbing at a home on Gregory Lane just before 7:30 p.m. last night. Deputies say Chad Severson went onto his neighbor's property and started throwing objects at their home. When the neighbor, Chad Smith, went outside to confront Severson he reportedly shot smith three times with a BB gun. Police say two of the BBs got lodged in Smith’s chest. When Smith's wife confronted Severson, he reportedly hit her in the face. That led to a fight between Smith and Severson. During the struggle, Severson pulled out a knife. All three people suffered cuts while trying to get a hold of the blade. Smith's wife was treated at the scene. Both men were taken to the hospital. Severson will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon once he is released from the hospital.
