The Valley dried out Friday, but there were still afternoon thunderstorms in the mountains, especially the Coast Range. These dissipated after the sun went down, but there will still be a few afternooon thunderstorms on Saturday in the Sierra Nevada. Everyone else should be dry Saturday... and into next week.
High pressure will return, but slowly. That means our temperatures will warm just a little this weekend... It's looking like a beautiful Fall weekend ahead! By the end of next week is when the heat returns, and the Valley could see 90 again.
Until then... enjoy the comfortable Fall weather!
