Tehama County murder suspect Quentin Bealer had to be removed from a hearing Monday when he began yelling and cursing at the district attorney.

Bealer's change of venue location was supposed to be finalized today, but instead the prosecution asked the judge for more time to review possible locations. Over the weekend Yuba and Sacramento Counties said they would be willing to accept Bealer's transfer.

When District Attorney Gregg Cohen asked the judge for more time Bealer stood up and began cursing at him. He was quickly escorted out of the courtroom.

Both sides plan to meet again December 1st to discuss which county to hold Bealer's trial. Earlier this month a judge granted Bealer's change of venue request after the defense successfully argued that Bealer could not get a fair jury in Tehama County, charging that media coverage has been inflammatory and sensational, and that 90 percent of the county's population was already familiar with the case.
