Dozens of people will be sporting bald heads on the Chico State Campus to support a good cause.
The fourth annual "Bald is Beautiful" campaign was held today.
Students lined up to have their heads shaved to show support for cancer victims.
Hair that is long enough will be donated to Locks-of-Love.
The event is put on by "up til' dawn" and part of the proceeds will benefit children at the St.Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Some participants say they wanted to help because cancer has had a personal impact on their lives.
Chantal Richards is a student who's taking part, "I've always wanted to shave my head because I've had family members with cancer. I finally got the courage to do it, and thought 'Let's do it!"
Students will continue the "up til dawn" campaign on November 4th by writing letters and asking for donations on behalf of St. Jude's. ###
