Police are still searching for the Paradise teenager who allegedly shot 20-year-old Christopher Brown leaving him paralyzed earlier this month.

Brown was allegedly shot by 17-year-old Lyric Hill on November 4 during an argument outside a home on Moss Lane in Paradise. Brown, who is reportedly paralyzed from the waist down, was transported to U.C. Davis Medical Center for therapy last week.

Paradise Police Detective Jake Smith tells Action News Now they have received tips that Hill may have traveled to Oregon, but said they have also received calls saying he is still in the area. Detective Smith said there is significant support for Hill on social media.

Police have contacted Hill's family, both his mom and dad say they have not heard from their son.

Hill is considered armed and dangerous, anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Paradise Police Department.
