SWAT officers and Tehama County sheriff's deputies raided a Cottonwood home Wednesday as part of a large crime sweep targeting the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.

The sweep involves the Sacramento Police Department, and 12 other state and local law enforcement agencies serving search warrants throughout northern California.

Sacramento Police Department Sgt. Doug Morse says the searches all stem from an investigation into a January 17 assault at an ‘Easy Rider' Convention in Sacramento.

Morse says Wednesday's operation has already yielded multiple guns and nine arrests.

Action News Now Reporter Angela Musallam will have a full report on the Cottonwood search and the statewide operation tonight at 5 and 6.
