Authorities have released the name of an Anderson man killed in an alcohol related crash Southwest of Redding. According to the CHP, 34-year-old Craig Vernon Houston was driving a 'Dodge Stratus' too fast around a curve on Clear Creek Road near Cloverdale Road, over corrected and caused the vehicle to overturn.
Houston was ejected and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Two passengers in the car received minor injuries. The crash happened around ten last night. Authorities confirmed the driver and his two passengers were drinking prior to getting in the car.
