At-Risk 10-Year-Old Child Found by Butte County Search & Rescue

(UPDATE) 7:20 a.m.- Oroville Police say Vladimir was found at 3:45 am this morning, unharmed, sleeping in River Bend Park by Butte County Search & Rescue.

The Oroville Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating an at-risk child reported missing. The 10-year-old child’s name is Vladmir Martin Huerta-Larios. He was last seen near his home on the 800 block of Pomona Street in Oroville around 6:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Vladmir is described as a white male, 4’ tall, 68 pounds, short brown hair, and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow jacket, blue and grey stripped shirt, blue jeans with black “And 1” tennis Shoes. He is disabled and his not taken his nightly prescribed medications. According to the Oroville Police Department, he becomes drowsy and tired when off his medications. The department also stated he likes walking off to nearby parks.

The Butte County Search and Rescue Team has been dispatched to aid in the search.
