ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Two people are reported dead following a strong earthquake on the western Greek island of Lefkada.

Today's tremor, with a preliminary magnitude of 6.1, also damaged roads and buildings.

It could be felt across Greece, and fire officials say they're sending crews to the island to assess the situation and to help cleanup efforts.

Officials say one of the deaths occurred when a wall collapsed on an 82-year-old woman.
