A Salvation Army assistance center has been opened in Weed for victims of the Boles Fire.
Clothing, food, household goods, and other items that have been donated will be distributed to those who have been displaced by the fire or lost homes. The center is located at at 550 Park Street in Weed.
The Salvation Army center will remain open until a Multi Agency Local Assistance Center is established to provide further assistance to those affected.Cal Fire officials say 110 homes were destroyed in the blaze, another 90 damaged.
Two churches, a community center and a library also have been destroyed since the fire started on Monday
