ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Anaheim police say they have arrested two men in the killing of a 9-year-old girl who was shot while playing outside her apartment.

A police spokesman said Saturday that two people were arrested late Friday and booked on suspicion of murder in the death of Ximena Meza.

Police say the shooting is gang related and that the suspects were targeting men near where the girl was playing Wednesday with her two sisters. No other victims have been located.

Police say Ricardo Cruz, 19, and Alfedo Miguel Aquino, 20, are being held on $1 million bail. It was not immediately clear whether either had a lawyer.

A $50,000 reward was offered for information leading to an arrest.
