Armed suspect robs pizza chain in Redding

A Redding pizza chain employee is recovering after he was struck in the face several times during the course of a robbery Tuesday night,

Redding Police responded to an emergency response call around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Domino’s Pizza on the 2000 block of Eureka Way where they said an unidentified man entered the store armed and demanded cash. Witnesses said the man was wearing a mask to conceal his identity.

Police haven’t released how much cash the robber was able to get, however police said once he had the money, the suspect fled running south on Eureka Way.

Investigators described the suspect as medium complected, 5-feet-7-inches tall, medium build wearing a black hoodie.

Police cautioned to call police the suspect is located as he is considered armed and dangerous.
