Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested after Neighborhood Chase

Redding police now have a suspect in custody in an early morning armed robbery at a convenience store.
Police arrested Chad Todd, 21, from Redding Wednesday afternoon after he sent officer on a foot pursuit on Victor Avenue.
Police were able to identify Todd as the suspect who allegedly robbed the Circle K located on Hartnell Avenue in Redding.
During the investigation, police were able to determine the suspect was staying on the 3300 block of School Street.
Police say Todd ran from officers through multiple yards and jumping over multiple fences, he eventually was located and taken into custody with the assistance of a Redding police K-9.
Todd is on probation out of Sacramento County for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The suspect was booked in the Shasta County jail for armed robbery, criminal threats and probation violation.
