Arkansas fugitive nabbed by US Marshals in Corning

An Arkansas woman wanted on numerous drug charges, including the delivery of marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and methadone has been arrested in Corning after nearly two years on the run.

Monique Cornelia Blanc, 21, of Baxter County, Arkansas was arrested December 30 in Corning by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Corning Police Department. Blanc was wanted out of Baxter County since April of 2013 when she fled after posting a $75,000 bond.

According to the Baxter Bulletin, the U.S. Marshals Service in Arkansas received a tip that led to Blanc's arrest in Corning.

Following her arrest Blanc was extradited back to Arkansas where she is now being held without bond on a charge of failure to appear.
