Mostly sunny skies and above average temperatures are ahead for your Friday. Temperatures are projected to fall just short of the high temperatures from yesterday, and will continue to fall this weekend. Valley areas are starting out in the low to mid 60's on Friday morning, and mountain areas are starting out in the mid 40's to mid 50's. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid to high 80's for the valley this afternoon, and into the mid 70's to low 80's in the mountains. Winds will be up to around 10mph out of the South. There will be a very slight potential for some unsettled weather to track into the Northern Mountains this evening, but those conditions will most likely hold off until Saturday.
Cooler temperatures, and the threat of unsettled weather is ahead for your weekend. Valley areas are expected to top out in the mid 70's to low 80's, and mountain areas will top out in the mid 60's to low 70's. The threat of thunderstorms will be ahead for the higher elevations closest to the Oregon border, and will mostly be limited to Saturday. There will be a slight chance for active weather lingering into Sunday, but that does not look as likely.
Skies will clear out on Monday, and valley areas will return to the mid 80's. Sunny skies, with temperatures in the high 80's to low 90's are expected to return by Tuesday. Very warm, and dry conditions will be ahead through the middle of next week. I hope everyone has a good way to beat the heat this afternoon, has a fantastic Friday, and a wonderful weekend!
