Another mild, and pleasant day is ahead for the north state! Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 60's in the valley, and will climb into the high 80's to mid 90's for the afternoon. Mountain areas are mostly falling into the high 40's to low 50's this morning, and are expected to rebound into the low to mid 80's for the the Northern Sierra, and mid 80's to low 90's in the Northern Mountains. While those temperatures are warmer than yesterday, they are still staying below average for this time of year.
Mostly sunny skies will continue to dominate the forecast through the weekend, but there will be a slight chance for some active weather returning to the mountains next week. Temperatures will return to around average by Tuesday, but there is still no triple digit heat in site! I hope everyone is enjoying this comfortable weather, and has a great Thursday!
