The Chico Museum invites the community to its 13th Annual Country Supper, Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the historic Patrick Ranch. It's one of two annual fundraisers to benefit the Museum.
Organizers say the festivities start at 5:00 p.m. with a no-host bar ... followed by a barbeque dinner at 6:00 p.m. In addition to ribs, chicken, and all the fixings, there will be strawberry shortcake for dessert. Drawings will be held for a variety of gift baskets.
Classical guitarist Warren Haskell will provide music.
The Chico Museum opened in 1986, providing the community with exhibits featuring Chico's rich history.
Proceeds from the Country Supper will help the mission of bringing in new exhibits, conserving existing exhibits, and educating the community on Chico's history.
Tickets are $45 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under, and may be purchased at the Chico Museum, 141 Salem Street or at Art, Etc., 123 West 3rd Street. You can also buy them online at
Right now the Chico Museum currently has two exhibits, 100 Years of Chico History and Mechoopda: This is Our Home, Here We Remain. It's open Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
