Anderson police have arrested a man suspected of burglarizing Camping World at least six times since last April.

Christopher Louis Peets, 33, was arrested last Tuesday following a probation search that uncovered items linking him to the burglaries.

Officers received a tip that Peets could be involved, so while he was out completing court ordered community service they searched his home.

After finding the evidence officers contacted Peets as he was doing community service. He was taken into custody after a short foot chase.

According to the Anderson Police Department, Camping World has had roughly $50,000 worth of merchandise stolen since April 2015.

Peets has been booked into the Shasta County Jail on suspicion of felony burglary.
