An Anderson man has been arrested after police say they found him next to a Walmart dumpster, huffing a stolen can of electronics cleaner.

Employees at the Anderson Walmart called police to report the theft of several cans of “Dustoff” electronics cleaner around 9:45 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived they found 30-year-old Raylon Shane Gibbs huffing and inhaling the electronics cleaner near a Walmart dumpster.

Police say Gibbs was so intoxicated from the chemicals he had become a danger to himself and to others.

An investigation revealed Gibbs had gone inside the Walmart and stolen cans of “Dustoff” on two separate occasions Monday.

Gibbs was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and being under the influence of the chemical difluoroethane.
