“America” is now the king of beers.
Just in time for the Olympics and the election, Budweiser is replacing "Budweiser" with "America" on the front of its 12 ounce cans and bottles.
The brand's parent company Anheuser-Busch says the "America" cans and bottles will be on shelves from May 23 through the election in November.
Budweiser will also modify its iconic label with copy central to American history, including phrases from the pledge of allegiance and lyrics from The Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.
"America" will go back to "Budweiser" after the election.
