LAKESIDE, Calif. (AP) - Amber Alerts have expanded to Oregon and Washington as authorities search for a Southern California man suspected of abducting a 16-year-old girl and wanted in the death of her mother and possibly her 8-year-old brother. Police say there were two possible sightings of James DiMaggio's Nissan Versa yesterday. Investigators have said DiMaggio may be headed to Texas or Canada with 16-year-old Hannah Anderson. Yesterday a friend of Hannah said DiMaggio told Hannah he had a crush on her and would date her if they were the same age.

CAMPO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in San Diego County, Calif. have issued an Amber alert for the two children of a woman whose body was found burned in a house near the U.S.-Mexico border.

San Diego County sheriff's officials say the bodies of a 44-year-old Christina Anderson was found Sunday in rural Boulevard, southeast of San Diego. In the burned garage was the body of a child whose identity and manner of death remain undetermined.

They believe the owner of the home, 40-year-old James DiMaggio, killed the mother and abducted her two missing children, 16-year-old Hannah and 8-year-old Ethan.

DiMaggio was in a close platonic relationship with Anderson.
