ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - The stars of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" have surprised a packed audience to kick off the four-day Star Wars Celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley joined director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy on stage Thursday to regal the rapt audience with plans for the highly anticipated film that hits theaters on Dec. 18.
Kennedy said Harrison Ford, who recently was involved in a plane crash, was home and mending.
Star Wars Celebration is a multi-day festival produced by Lucasfilm that's dedicated to Star Wars past and present. It was previously held in Germany.
