Mostly sunny skies, and very warm temperatures are lingering in your Monday forecast. There will be the potential for isolated showers, and thunderstorms in the Northern Mountains this afternoon, but the active conditions will more likely hold off until this evening. Valley temperatures have dipped into the mid 50's to low 60's overnight, and mountain areas have only dropped into the low 30's to mid 40's. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid 80's to low 90's in the valley, and mountain areas will climb into the mid 70's to mid 80's. Winds will start out at around 10mph out of the Northwest, but will shift to become out of the South later today.
A better chance for active conditions will return to the mountains tonight, and will continue over the next several days. The chance for showers, and thunderstorms will not be as likely for the valley, but there will still be a slight chance of isolated activity. The best chance for the active conditions in the valley will be on Friday. A cooling trend will return to the region as clouds arrive over the next few days. Valley areas will fall into the mid 70's to low 80's on Tuesday, and into the low to mid 70's by Friday. I hope everyone enjoys this last day of extremely warm temperatures, and has a marvelous Monday!
