Showers and the potential for thunderstorms are heading into the north state this afternoon. Dry conditions have lingered across the lower elevations overnight, and temperatures have only dipped into the low to mid 40's. Afternoon high temperatures will only climb into the low 60's. The best potential for active weather returns to the valley this afternoon, and will continue into your Saturday forecast. Scattered showers will be ahead, and the potential for thunderstorms will be likely through tomorrow. Those thunderstorms could also cause hail, and even the potential for a funnel cloud forming later today. Winds will start out of the North to 10mph, but will shift to become from the South later today. Humidity values will only drop to around 80 percent later today. Your Friday morning sunrise is set for 6:44am, and sunset will be at 5:57pm.
The potential for showers, and thunderstorms will continue on Saturday. Sunny skies, and slightly warmer temperatures will be ahead for Sunday. The next chance for light showers returns on Monday afternoon, and will extend into Tuesday. Sunny skies, warmer temperatures, and dry conditions then dominate the end of next week.
