Strong winds, cloudy skies, and the potential for afternoon showers, and thunderstorms are all ahead for your Thursday Farmcast. Sustained winds will be between 20 to 25mph out of the North, with gusts up to around 35mph throughout the day. Most of the active weather is currently tracking down to the South, but the potential for showers, and thunderstorms will return to the area this afternoon and evening. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's for most of the valley, and are projected to climb into the mid 70's to low 80's this afternoon. Humidity values should rest at around 15 to 30 percent, but some areas could dip below that. Your Thursday morning sunrise is set for 6:01am, and sunset will be at 8:07pm.
Winds will not be as strong on Friday, and the potential for active weather will recede into the Sierra. Partly cloudy skies, and slightly warmer temperatures are ahead for Friday. Winds will gust to around 20mph out of the North. Even warmer temperatures are ahead for the weekend, with mild conditions on the way. Temperatures will climb back into the 80's in the valley with mostly sunny skies. Cooler temperatures will return next week, with a slight chance of thunderstorms.
