Cloudy skies, cooler high temperatures, and the potential for active conditions are all ahead for your Wednesday Farmcast. Showers, and thunderstorms returned to the northern end of the valley last night, but most of the valley has stayed dry since midnight. There will be a 30 to 40 percent chance of precipitation in the valley, and a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures in the valley have only dipped into the low 70's overnight, and are only expected to climb into the mid 80's to low 90's. Winds will be out of the Southeast up to around 10mph.
Skies clear tonight as the Low Pressure system that's impacting the region today shifts to the East. Sunny skies, and very hot temperatures will return on Thursday, and will persist through Saturday. Temperatures will then have a modest cooling trend into the high 80's to low 90's for the start of next week, but the sunny skies will continue through your extended forecast.
