Mostly sunny skies, and above average temperatures are ahead for your Tuesday forecast. Conditions are shaping up to be very similar to Monday's. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the high 70's to mid 80's for the valley, and into the mid 60's to mid 70's in the mountains. Winds will only be up to around 10mph out of the North for today. There will be a very slight chance of a thunderstorm popping up in Plumas county late this afternoon in to the evening, but the best chance for those active conditions will be well off to the East.

Slightly cooler temperatures will be ahead for Wednesday, and winds will be picking up. Sustained winds out of the North up to around 20mph are expected in the valley, with gusts up to around 30mph. The potential for mountain showers, and thunderstorms will be ahead for the afternoon, and evening of Wednesday through Friday in the mountains. There will be a slight chance of showers, and thunderstorms in the valley on Wednesday.

A modest warming trend is ahead for your weekend. Valley locations will climb back into the low to mid 80's by Saturday. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler temperatures ahead, and has a great Tuesday!
