Active & Cooler Conditions Ahead For The North State

Much cooler temperatures, and the potential for active conditions are ahead for the next several days. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 60's to low 70's in the valley, and in the mid 50's to low 60's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are only projected to climb into the low to mid 90's in the valley this afternoon, and into the low 80's to low 90's in the mountains. Low pressure off the coast of California will draw some decent moisture into the region this afternoon, and over the next 3 days. The potential for scattered mountain showers/thunderstorms, and isolated showers/thunderstorms in the valley will be possible over the next three afternoons, and evenings. Winds will be out of the South up to around 10mph.

Temperatures will continue to cool through Thursday, and are only projected to climb into the low to mid 80's for the valley on Thursday afternoon. There will be a modest rebound in temperatures this weekend as valley locations climb back into the low to mid 90's. I hope everyone has kept track of their umbrellas, and has a great Tuesday!
