Another transient issue in one North State neighborhood has residents fighting mad. This latest incident is centered in a quiet golf course community in Magalia. Neighbors say the transients have taken over a house that burned down less than a year ago.
Neighbors living near a burned down home on West Park Drive say it is attracting constant illegal activity from transients. Now they want the county to step in and take care of what they call a never ending nightmare.
"If someone could come in and bulldoze the entire thing that would be great." says Deborah Nichols who lives next door.
The Butte County code Enforcement Supervisor Chris Jellison says the problem lot will soon be over. He is expecting the property to be cleared in one to two months.
"Currently the residence is passed the 30 day notice that we send in the mail. So right now it is in the 10 day status which means we will send it to a nuisance abatement hearing which the letter expires this Monday." says Jellison.
