More rain, and strong winds are ahead in your Wednesday forecast! A band of heavy rain has already made it's way through the region this morning, with more substantial precipitation expected to return this afternoon. Amounts look to be impressive, with 3/4th of an inch projected in the valley, and up to 2 inches possible in the mountains, through Thursday afternoon. Winds will pick up this afternoon, and we could see gusts topping 45mph out of the South. A Wind Advisory will be in place from 4pm today, until 1am Thursday for the northern end of the valley. There is also some potential for valley thunderstorms in tonight's forecast. Dry and warmer weather looks to return for Friday, and Saturday. The next wet system will arrive on Sunday.
