A major drug bust in Redding this afternoon results in two arrests. About 2:00pm, investigators from the Redding Police Department served a search warrant at 2548 Sabre Court, apartment #A. During the search, investigators located narcotics paraphernalia, Methadone tablets, Oxycontin tablets, marijuana, packaging materials, scales, and a semi-automatic handgun. Several different types of ammunition were located as well as a stolen Trek mountain bike.
32-year old Anthony Delacruz, of Redding, and 26-year old Tamara Luedee, also of Redding were arrested at the residence. Delacruz was arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, sales of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Delacruz also had outstanding warrants for his arrest charging him with possession of methamphetamine, and driving on a suspended license. Luedee was arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
Investigators will seek additional charges on both Delacruz and Luedee for maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are used or sold.
Both Delacruz and Luedee were booked into the Shasta County Jail.
