The delta breeze weakened a little on Thursday, so Valley temperatures warmed up just a bit. A trough of low pressure will swing into Oregon on Friday, which will kick up the delta breeze again... so look for our temperatures to cool back down a bit on Friday. Nice weather for the Butte County Fair in Gridley!
As the trough slides east by Saturday, behind it we'll see a north breeze kick up. It won't be strong (5 to 15 mph), but it will end any kind of cooling influence the delta breeze would normally give us, meaning we'll warm back up to near average temperatures this weekend... and stay there into next week.
